Scope:
Data Science:
Broader in scope, encompassing data collection, cleaning, analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
It combines elements of statistics, computer science, and domain knowledge to extract insights from data.
Data Analytics:
A subset of data science focused on examining data sets to draw conclusions.
It involves analyzing existing data to uncover patterns, trends, and relationships to help make data-driven decisions.
2. Focus:
Data Science:
Focuses on building algorithms, predictive models, and understanding the underlying patterns in data.
Involves advanced techniques like machine learning, AI, and deep learning.
Data Analytics:
Focuses on answering specific business questions through data interpretation and reporting.
Often involves descriptive and diagnostic analytics to summarize and interpret data.
