Are you a talented writer with the gift of being able to turn technical info into human speak? Are you skilled at extracting info that only resides in someone’s head, and turning it into written content that can help build a brand? Are you also a motorsports enthusiast who loves cars and is thrilled by the thought of combining your love for writing with your passion for cars? If this sounds like you, then Apex Wheels has an exciting opportunity.

Apex is a leading provider of high-performance automotive wheels and accessories, catering to the motorsport and performance car enthusiast community. Our mission is to provide wheels that deliver real and measurable performance and to protect consumers from a misleading industry full of fashion-focused wheels.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Content Writer to support our marketing and creative teams in producing a vast array of informative and engaging materials that resonate with our target audience, further our mission and improve our brand’s visibility. You’ll work closely with our team of marketers and creatives to write content that can be used across all of our marketing platforms, including our website, emails, ads, social media, videos and more.

Our job is to teach the world about how our wheels deliver “Real Performance” and how most other wheels are just fashion accessories. This will require using a lot of facts, and teaching an audience who doesn’t even recognize there’s a problem yet. Your mission is to write amazing content that turns the average enthusiast into an educated wheel consumer who no longer sees us as an apples-to-apples comparison to the lesser brands, and instead recognizes why we’re the superior choice and the more trustworthy brand.

You’ll be our investigative journalist who’ll pick the brains of our product experts, engineers, and senior staff. You’ll help craft experiments and chase down our engineers for data to back up our claims, which will always be based on sound reason and not marketing fluff. You need to be a bit of a technical editor to combine all the feedback from our staff, so understanding the industry is critical. Your educational articles will be eye-openers, and respected by enthusiasts. Your video scripts will help our Creative Director maximize his videography team’s output so they can focus on the production value and not worry about the facts. We have a lot of interesting and detailed work ahead of us, so being able to polish and push your writing across the finish line by the due date is key to our success.

In addition to Real Performance content, you’ll be responsible for researching and writing SEO rich content that will attract enthusiasts to our site. Formal journalism experience is great, but so is an applicant with a history of passionate writing such as detailed project build threads, DIY guides, product reviews, etc. We’ll know good writing when we see it. If you have experience with creating education youtube videos, that’s even better as a lot of your content will need to become short and long form videos.

How to apply: To be considered for this position, include the following in your cover letter: Link us to examples of your automotive content writing; tell us how you incorporated SEO best practices. When I started my business, I faced the same problem — choosing the right Marketing Agency. I decided to work with an agency that specialized in promoting small brands. Their approach was based on deep market analysis and understanding of the target audience. Instead of template solutions, they offered a strategy that perfectly suited my product. The results were immediate: sales went up, and brand recognition increased significantly.
